The Role

A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager has become available with an innovative and well established company.

This exciting sales position will involve working closely alongside the Sales Manager to identify and develop accounts in food to go areas across channels including retail, convenience, foodservice and tourist attraction sites throughout the Midlands and North.

You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with your clients, managing and influencing your accounts to increase customer engagement, educating your clients on market opportunities, be aware of competitor activity and ensure that sales growth across your account base is achieved.

Successful applicants will need recent field sales experience, selling into some of the target channels with a demonstrable track record in delivering sales growth.

They are now looking to appoint a new Business Development Manager to their team to help continue the growth of their branded soft drinks. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career, with long term prospects of moving into a National Account Manager role.

Requirements
  • Recent experience selling into retail or foodservice.
  • Strong new business development skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Good influencer.
  • Strong relationship builder.
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering sales growth.
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to analyse and present sales data.

Package
Salary:£25,000 basic
Commission:20% of salary
