The Role

A superb opportunity for a highly driven and entrepreneurial Key Account Manager has become available, with an innovative and leading provider of fine food & drink products.

This exciting role will involve selling a range of premium branded products into department store food halls, online retailers and wholesalers throughout the UK.

You will inherit a portfolio of existing clients, but will also be expected to pro-actively identify and open new Key Accounts across these channels.

Along with having full P&L responsibility for your accounts, your remit will be to build strong long term relationships, identify growth opportunities, develop strategic sales plans, implement promotional opportunities, manage brand positioning, ensure first class levels of customer service are being received and achieve the agreed sales targets across your accounts.

Successful applicants will need recent experience in selling fine foods or high end branded products into department stores, premium grocers or fine food wholesalers. The ideal candidate will either be in a similar Key Account Manager role or be an Account Manager looking to take the step in their career.
