The Role

A superb Senior National Account Manager / Commercial Manager role has become available with a leading manufacturer of private label and branded soft drinks.

This fantastic position will involve managing and developing a portfolio of major UK retail accounts, including a top 4 grocer, as well as strategically developing new business opportunities.

You will be fully responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships with your accounts, working closely with production and logistics teams internally to ensure that all service levels are met, creating a strategic business plan to grow business with both new and existing clients, developing and implementing JBP’s, working with customers and R&D team on development of new private label lines, negotiating pricing, monitoring competitor activity & market trends and achieving the agreed targets across your accounts.

Successful applicants will need recent experience within a Senior National Account Manager / Commercial Manager FMCG position, selling high volume food or drink into major UK retailers, including a top 4 grocer.

Requirements
  • Recent Senior National Account Management / Commercial Management experience within the FMCG sector ideally within Food or Drink.
  • Experience in selling high volume products to top 4 grocers.
  • Experience of selling branded and private label products highly advantageous.
  • Proven, successful track record in delivering sales growth.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communicator who can deal effectively with people across all levels.
  • Strong negotiator.
  • Strategic business planning skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach.
  • Ambitious with strong drive and desire to be successful.
Package
Salary:Basic Salary circa £70k
Commission:Attractive bonus
