The Role

A superb opportunity for a Business Development Manager / National Account Manager has become available with a well established and expanding manufacturer of gifts / homewares.

This exciting sales role will involve taking the company’s new range of products to market, selling into high street retail, grocers, garden centre groups, department stores and the hospitality channel across the UK.

Working closely with the senior management team you will help develop and implement a strategic sales plan, identifying and opening new business accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships, working closely with your clients on seasonal range reviews and developing new bespoke lines, identifying growth opportunities, negotiating profitably, ensuring that strong service levels are being delivered and achieving the agreed targets.

Successful applicants will need to possess recent experience in selling homewares or gifts to major UK retailers, together with a demonstrable track record in developing new business.

The Company

Our client is a well established manufacturer of a range of branded and bespoke quality gifts / homewares. They have recently developed a new range of products and are now looking for a highly driven and successful Business Development Manager / National Account Manager, to use their strong experience of this sector to help grow this division. Requirements
  • Recent experience in selling homewares, gifts or similar into major UK retailers.

Package
Salary:£40,000-£45,000 basic
Commission:£5,000-£10,000
