The Role

An exciting technical sales engineer opportunity has become available with a well established provider of sensors.

The role will involve both management of existing accounts and developing new business with clients across sectors including food & beverage, power, manufacturing, oil & gas, automation and HVAC throughout the UK.

You will be responsible for building strong relationships with your clients, identifying upcoming projects, providing demonstrations of products, managing the whole sales process through to completion with a solution led approach.

Successful applicants will need to possess recent experience in selling sensors to the target markets and possess a proven track record in delivering sales growth.

Our client is a well established provider of a wide range of sensors for a variety of applications. Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to join their sales team.

Requirements
  • Recent technical sales experience selling sensors or similar.
  • Experienced with a technical solution led sales approach
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Excellent relationship builder.
  • Good technical aptitude.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels.
  • Enthusiastic and positive.
  • Pro-active and tenacious approach.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed.
Package
Salary:circa £40k basic
Commission:£10k OTE
